And yet you have to go back *decades* to find that comparison. We started earlier and we finished earlier. Now? Only a Yankee is born in and lives in a 'white neighborhood'. It was the most fucked-up thing I saw when I moved up here. Looking for a house some girls pointed at us and said "Look at the white people!" But regardless of the segregation problem. There have been more reports and cases of atrocities against blacks in the South than in the North. I believe there are too many incidents that attest to this fact. Even up till now in 2019. We do not hear them in the North as much.
