Oh hell there's always a few yahoos. That's what you call an outlier. Black and white neighborhoods are a Yankee thing though. Segregation and racial politics are a Yankee thing. Where I come from we unironically call each other 'brother' as a casual greeting.

And yet you have to go back *decades* to find that comparison. We started earlier and we finished earlier. Now? Only a Yankee is born in and lives in a 'white neighborhood'. It was the most fucked-up thing I saw when I moved up here. Looking for a house some girls pointed at us and said "Look at the white people!" I had never seen that back home as we say "the pickup and the Cadillac are parked on the same street" Racial obsession has become a Northern disease.
@Jym I will take your word for it. Malcom x said something similar of segregation problem of Northern states vs the southern States. Its in this short clip.
But regardless of the segregation problem. There have been more reports and cases of atrocities against blacks in the South than in the North. I believe there are too many incidents that attest to this fact. Even up till now in 2019. We do not hear them in the North as much.

Malcom was a Yankee. Booker was 5 times the man Malcom could hope to be. I'm not talking about fights I am talking about people understanding and living with each other. At home we consider each other brothers. We confront our differences and we negotiate them. The Yankee focusses on our differences and creates of them a worldview based in those differences.
