Okay you sold me with that one
La Squadra deserved more tbh
yes being bizarre is key to Jojo
but imagine if the whole world is Bizarre
rampant meaningless consumerism of food tech and fashion
coupled with government surveillance in a pseudo police state
Bread and Games but in the Future
Hell yeah
though i stumble into a bit of an issue now
i dont want my Joestar to be a damn Anarchist
Joestars fight for freedom and individualism and struggle against fate, but they aint no damn anarchists
Doesn't need to be an anarchist ***helicopter noises intensify***
Maybe it'll be a communist dystopia that they're fighting against
I wouldn't put it past Araki
rampant consumerism in a Commie Dystopia?
(X) Doubt
although
you should have red my draft for Russian Joestar
it's the "JoJo part set in 1980s Soviet Russia with a Gopnick Joestar" idea
Ohh
But also I think we can forgive araki if he makes the JoJo an anarchist, I mean everyone kind of collectively didn't care that one of the part 2 jobros was a literal nazi
as long as he aint some "im gonna break society and remake it" social marxist type id be fine with a "Rage against the Machine" JoJo
after all, the period breeds the Joestar
and all Joestars are a product of their environment
Despite only making up 13%
ok ready your but for my draft
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Gopnick Bass
Joestar vs Joestar
Antagonist Joestar has Mind Controlling/Illusion Stand
Disillusioned with the corruption found in the world and wants to take over the mind of everyone to reshape society. In hiding due to CIA and KGB hunting him as he gathers folowers from Soviet Crime Underworld.
Keywords "My Future is Coming"
Stand based on Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood"
Stand cant mind control other Joestars due to Joestar blood/telepathic link until near the end where he awakens his full potential. Final battle is a battle of wills/ideology ala MGRRevengance
Protagonist Ivan Joestar. 18 year old Gopnik urchin turned gangmember who doesn't know anything about the Joestars cause orphan. Gets picked up by the CIA and KGB and gets sent after Antagonist as a tool along with a crack team of small time criminals and gang members all stand users. Ivan wants a better life and to flee from the USSR to America. Eventually realizes how important mission is and that he has to stop antagonist.
Ivan's stand is "Archduke" based on Franz Ferdinand (the band) and its power is explosive fists for high speed high power attacks that use controlled explosions to wreck enemies. Also has a variety of defensive uses.
Final battle changes Ivan as a person as he realizes the core truth of the Antagonist's belief but does not fall into a nihilistic totalitarian view instead fighting to make the world better.
it's a bit rough but hey it's an idea
there's a lot of kinks to work out but that's about it
It's essentially a more raw version of Part 5 without Giorno Saves
You won me over just from the mgr reference tbh
I've played through that game like 13 times
JoJos should always be fun
but we can also be serious
and do some important commentary on society
and we could end this part ala Revengance really
brutally by having Ivan blow a whole threw the head of the Antagonist
shit i cant decide which is best for Araki though
Cyberpunk Near Future JoJos
or Russian Mafia JoJos
Why not Cyberpunk Russian Mafia Jojo?
Yeet
ITS HAPPENED, ITS SIGNED!!!!!!!

Leaked documents show that the Trump administration is drafting an executive order that, if upheld by the courts, could essentially end free speech on the Internet. The draft order would put the FTC and the FCC, headed by its notoriously corrupt chairman Ajit Pai, in charge of monitoring and policing online speech on social media platforms, online forums, and more.
It would give these bureaucratic government agencies unprecedented control over how Internet platforms moderate speech by allowing them to revoke the essential protections Congress laid out in Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (CDA). CDA 230 is the basic law that makes it possible for online platforms to let users post our own content, and to make basic decisions about what types of content they as private entities want to host. Every meme, every social media post, every blog and user-created video on the Internet has been made possible by this crucial free speech protection.
