I read in that thread that the ADL has the ability to delete videos and channels on YouTube. Somehow I don't believe that is true, YouTube wouldn't give that level of permissions to an independent organisation, surely? Does anyone have proof of this or can explain it?

I don't see why he would want to, at least if he is familiar with them. There's always the chance he isn't familiar with them and gives them the benefit of the doubt cus they sound nice on paper. But somehow I don't think he would donate that much on a whim. I think he knows about them.
iirc ADL and some other progressive rackets have been given at least important advisory roles in Youtube, and may have access to Superflagger accounts

It's a huge risk for them to take down such a large channel, because his presence could carry the popularity of another video hosting site if he left Youtube

He wouldn't tolerate it though. As someone who has been on the site he would know in an instant if they tried to slowly strangle him. He'd make a vid about it and YouTube would pander to the outrage temporarily and if it didn't improve long term he'd leave the platform.
If you weigh how much he probably gets through revenue, compared to what he paid out, it's likely they can get an awful lot before he finally draws any kind of line in the sand.
