So other than the fact we have a moral obligation to help the world, there's also the fact it's not like they would be willing to leave well enough alone

I mean for example, look at the millions of refugees flooding Europe right now becuase Syria is falling apart

This sort of problem doesn't just go away unfortunately

we have no such fucking obligation, we are our own fucking nation state, we have our own problems and responsibilities

With that much suffering everyone gets involved

We do have a moral obligation as they are fellow human beings

But beyond that, it will end up effecting us eventually

There was a pretty big global threat from the idea a gigantic war in the middle east would effect the rest of the world

It eventually brings in other players and it expands from there

If Russia and the U.S. are facing off on opposite ends of a Syrian-Iranian-Iraq war vs. like the U.S. and Israel and Suadi Arabia, that's kind of a big deal

Iran has a military force of like 13 million people when including the basij, which dwarfs entire countries in population

Even without WMD's it would be a bloodbath

what if Iran decides to march to France and just attack them or what have you

You can literally walk from the middle east to Europe, many have

with a military budget, after sanctions, of a fucking corner diner's salary

The distance between France and Iraq is a shorter distance between LA and New York

that you even pretend Iran is a threat to anyone but itself at this current point is either extremely naive or shows malicious agenda

The middle east is right across the border on Europe

iran is pretty clearly a threat to a lot of people, arming and funding hezbollah for example, who daily luanches missiles at israel

Iran has also tried to assassinate many western leaders, including in denmark, and has been attacking various ships
