if gods were more powerful than us, we wouldnt be able to disbelieve them

I think people (most, not everyone) are fundimentally flawed

and something do stupid things, and I don't agree that most of that is evil

most people are timid

I'm not sure if I could agree that people who do awful things are evil either

but, I would agree that things done were evil

like awful things

however, this breaks down when you get to mao

things that are intended to only cause degeneracy

but, you can never explain edgecases

most people dont do things for the sake of being a shitlord

evil by definition is probably more a spectrum
