i could agree with this

the part under the water is huge and unconcious

we learn to understand and try to influence ourselves

the way i frame it is that youre hungry, and you can eat an apple or chocolate bar

like where you negoitate with yourself

an inner voice might tell you the apple is healthier

i understand this from CBT

but the other voice might say the chocolate bar is faster and tastier

andwhichever voice you listen to is the one that 'wins'

which is the entire concept of what their Gods were about

they live through people

and people are puppets to the gods

ie, emotions and ideals

when you get angry its like a spirit possesses you

intersting idea, I use the idea of gods to represent the things that are outside of myself

i never applied it to self negotitating

if gods were more powerful than us, we wouldnt be able to disbelieve them

we control gods

idk, i see god as the thing outside of myself, and as the chaos in the world

not as an ideal

but I think I understand the concept of the multiple gods, thus the multiple voices

also demons are associated with evil because people are inherently evil

self preserving, impulsive, pleasure seeking

we see good and 'holy' people as such because they reject those

thats why its a goal

we do it not because its easy but because it is hard

I think people (most, not everyone) are fundimentally flawed

and something do stupid things, and I don't agree that most of that is evil

most people are timid

which is essentially willed atrophy

I'm not sure if I could agree that people who do awful things are evil either

I think they might have faulty logic

Umm, I wouldn't know what position I would describe as coming from here

but, I would agree that things done were evil

like awful things

however, this breaks down when you get to mao
