Bright screen in low light room is very unhealthy for your eyes
shouldnt that be very basic to understand?
And as some of you may know, blue light from LEDs, monitors, and devices interferes with normal sleep rhythms
Will make you have a delayed or partially gimped melatonin response
Keeping you awake longer and drying your eyes out
I have a residual blur from corrected astigmathism, so I can't use everything on dark themes
When it is white on black it blurs for me
My monitor doesn't give that much blue light. Also nope light theme is better
it needs to be some other colour combo

All monitors give off blue light unless manufactured to not specifically, which there's no point when you can just downlaod a program to turn off the blue lights on your LEDs at will
Discord's light gres on dark grey is ok for my eyes
I have a mode that uses no blue
It came with this ASUS monitor by default

there it was manufactured with a setting
I mean it has blue, but you can switch it into a mode without that colour
Never used it though
I like when things look closer to natural colours
