brb, becoming korean

2019-08-23 02:50:27 UTC

One is almost always the sky god and the other a storm/lightning god

2019-08-23 02:50:44 UTC

Varies which is which by religion

2019-08-23 02:51:01 UTC

Nah man, you can't confuse saturn and jupiter

2019-08-23 02:51:09 UTC

And yeah, Christianity is a solar faith (secondary Mercury element)

2019-08-23 02:51:36 UTC

jupiter has rings

2019-08-23 02:51:42 UTC

I actually remember seeing some thing where the swastika symbol was actually a representation of the primal force of the sea or something

2019-08-23 02:51:56 UTC

I am speaking of as deities and values, not the material bodies

2019-08-23 02:52:02 UTC

and other instances where it's supposedly associated with the sun

2019-08-23 02:52:03 UTC

can't confuse the god of time for the god of the sky.

2019-08-23 02:52:18 UTC

Aaasrgh, Kronus is not time

2019-08-23 02:52:37 UTC

ÆON

2019-08-23 02:52:56 UTC

Except foe when people confused and conflated him with Chronos/Aeon

2019-08-23 02:53:10 UTC

Which did happen

2019-08-23 02:53:13 UTC

Ik Kronus isn't time, Saturn however is a god of time in later developments of the roman faith amidst the golden age.

2019-08-23 02:53:39 UTC

Is that why he's relative to all the other gods?

2019-08-23 02:54:00 UTC

more like saturn is dad and they cut his dick off

2019-08-23 02:54:02 UTC

I know
I am speaking of Saturn as a universal astrological symbol and type, not necessarily or exclusively as understood in the Roman paradigm

2019-08-23 02:54:08 UTC

Well

2019-08-23 02:54:12 UTC

THEY CUT HIS DICK OFF

2019-08-23 02:54:39 UTC

***THEY CUT HIS FUCKING DICK OFF***

2019-08-23 02:54:53 UTC

If your mythology doesn't involve cutting someone's dick off at some point I think it's done wrong

2019-08-23 02:55:22 UTC

Even Vivec bite's molag bal's dick off and names it "milk taker" before slaying his 800 demon children.

2019-08-23 02:55:31 UTC

wow, what kind of BME Pain Olympics mythology do you follow?

2019-08-23 02:55:33 UTC

Understand it this way
Each of the original five planets and two luminaries (sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, Saturn, the planets visible to the naked eye) each had two natural domains or straightforward ways of manifesting

2019-08-23 02:56:25 UTC

In astrological terms, each ruled two signs of the Zodiac except the sun and moon who had onlu one each

2019-08-23 02:56:36 UTC

5x2+2=12

2019-08-23 02:56:58 UTC

Saturn rules the two signs opposite the luminaries

2019-08-23 02:57:09 UTC

Ie
Capricorn and Aquarius

2019-08-23 02:57:29 UTC

Kronus in Greek/Roman myth is totally Capricorn

2019-08-23 02:57:32 UTC

What are the signs of the luminaries?

2019-08-23 02:57:38 UTC

Leo and Cancer

Well its like god has 72 names, and if you drew the world as a tree then each name has a level of power in said tree. There are 72 angels and on the underside of each tree branch there is a demon for a total of 72 demons. If you can play the game right and perform the proper rights to defeat the 72 demons then you earn the right to have a guardian angel.

2019-08-23 02:58:05 UTC

And which one is the sun?

2019-08-23 02:58:33 UTC

@KaiserDoom Which anime is this?

2019-08-23 02:59:00 UTC

:V not even an anime, just general occultism with the book of Abramelin the Mage, aka - Abraham of Worms.

2019-08-23 02:59:18 UTC

Never heard of it, but then, I'm not an occultist.
