Thing is, before getting on those meds, I once had a moment while trying to fall asleep (was attempting to learn meditation at the time), there was an incident where I ***felt*** the dark side calling to me. It was a really fucked-up moment, and ever since, I've never really been able to meditate.
maybe all that coke I drank 5 years straight must have fucked my head
it was then I had a sillence of no dreams for 3 years straight
during that period
caffeine did something
with the tons of sugar
The only drug I really take (aside from meds) is caffeine. Last year I chose to severely cut back on my caffeine intake, reducing the 4-6 cans of soda a day to one. Doesn't seem to have affected my dreaming at all.
I was drinking 2.5 liters/daily of coke
almost ended up with type 2 diabetes
I ran into that when I was in puberty involving some rather *perverse* aspects that caused me to forcibly recoil from my shadow.
replaced water basically
I did get over it, using guided meditations.
I scared myself with that one.
after I was close to type 2 dyabetes I went of Hardcore keto and lost 30 kg in 70 days
I still drink soda every once ina full moon
but not to replace water with it like in the past
fuck that
nice
Libertarians dont count
After I burnt myself hard on Mountain Dew (the workplace had it free), I pretty much cut myseld to non-carbonated drinks mostly.
Though when I lived with my bro (who had cut over from Coke to sparkling water) I did that.. but I'm mostly to tea/coffee & plane water.
Sometimes the Rehab Monsters when having a superlong day.
(EG 12-16 hour day plus travel with minimal- if any - sleep.)
oof
energy drink memes are cool and all
but they also kill
Life kills, and I'd rather not end up in a ditch breathing my last.
You couldn't pay me enough to drink that energy drink shit.
Energy drinks taste like sugary chemical waste. Pass.
^^
Eh, depends on the type you have.
lemon lime tea it is for me
The Monster Rehabs are closer to tea.
And, when I've got 18 hour days or more in consecutive days and over weeks.. better to keep that perk (and, hell, at least I'm not using coke or speed to keep up with the frenetic pace).
The pace that I demand of myself.
12 hours is as much as I'll ever work in one sitting
with zero sleep
Worse I've done of late is a 26 hour day.
what do you work, medical?
But then literally passed out at the end of it before 100% (like 99.99% - just needed a sign off). Nah, on the road tech.
