well, the first world won't do shit until the Amazon buring down displaces a billion people in the third world
I respect everyone who hate Greenpeace
Peru is basically the somalia of South America
King Arthur is so op in smite lmao
we will just deal with it then
I thought that was Brazil
Brazil is the Brazil of south america
It's within the world's power to do something peaceful about the Amazon, but they won't
So fuck them
Fair enough
Peruvians I know are nice
Yeah cause they're too poor to afford being proud
It's within our power to Stop The Dems; we don't
fuck us too then
Granted, don't know lot of them
It's within our power to stop the pedos, but we don't
^^
And, tbh, the whole climate change thing is going to end up with millions of people dying people - the people in charge are so obsessed with forcing poorer people to take a hit to their living standards against their will rather than enacting measures everyone can get on board with, that most people are going to say "well fuck you then, people can die with climate change"
and if we follow there advice, millions STILL die
I have a plan to stop climate change
We kill all of Sweden
One of the wildest things is the old city center of the town I grew up in -- it was coastal, and then there was an earthquake that sunk the whole town several meters.
without capitalism, billlions of people would never have got a chance to even exist
There are fucking shit tons of stuff they could do that don't hit peoples living standards and would get widespread support, but they won't do it
so there's a bay where there's ruined buildings you can see from the hills around it, like some sort of atlantis
why would they?
They're only interested in pushing authoritarian bullshit
people don't go out of their way to do shit unless they see it effecting them directly
even then, some still just ignore
There's something off with your interpretation, Ma
iyo*
how so?
Plenty of people are "Pushing" climate change stuff, especially in the wealthy and ruling classes
young people with nothing else to do
No, not just young people
The issue isn't the desire of people to do something, the issue is the people making the decisions making the worst possible ones
'not just..... ' is arguing the exceptions rather than arguing to establish what applies the majority of the time
sure, there are plenty of outlier that feel it important; hell, i do myself
but i also know when someone is looking at something with a great deal of uncertainty and treating things that can go either way as fact
