for a reason

2019-08-25 21:38:49 UTC

And yes, I actually used to fight my friends back in Lompoc CA, with the metal ones I was making. This continued up until late in high school, when I tried to be super progressive

2019-08-25 21:38:56 UTC

As in that we don't even know if they were used in any effective manner

2019-08-25 21:38:57 UTC

I got rid of most of my swords then

2019-08-25 21:39:10 UTC

@Nahkasetä theyre a farming tool so i think its a bit more than that

2019-08-25 21:39:25 UTC

yeah, but it's easy to deduce that they probably discarded the idea

2019-08-25 21:39:26 UTC

Never made a dual edge, though

2019-08-25 21:39:35 UTC

Originally yes, but I'm talking about the weapon here

2019-08-25 21:39:38 UTC

ffs forgot the word

2019-08-25 21:39:50 UTC

Single edges are better and safer to practice with, so I've only ever made those

2019-08-25 21:40:02 UTC

single edges are worse to use

2019-08-25 21:40:03 UTC

🤷

2019-08-25 21:40:04 UTC

^

2019-08-25 21:40:15 UTC

2019-08-25 21:40:47 UTC

2019-08-25 21:40:51 UTC

2019-08-25 21:40:55 UTC

2019-08-25 21:41:02 UTC

whips are good secondary weapons

2019-08-25 21:41:06 UTC

Lol no

2019-08-25 21:41:08 UTC

useless against armour

2019-08-25 21:41:13 UTC

perfect for nobles and ppl who have guards to keep ppl away from u

2019-08-25 21:41:14 UTC

Found someone with a wedding photo, do I swipe left or right?

2019-08-25 21:41:15 UTC

good against animal

2019-08-25 21:41:16 UTC

Useless against clothing too

2019-08-25 21:41:28 UTC

If you parry with a dual edged blade, it either has to be ludicrously flexible, and therefore easily dulled, or it has to be thick enough to take the blow. Single edges became the majority of swords in Europe, quite quickly

2019-08-25 21:41:29 UTC

Which is left and which is right @Weez

2019-08-25 21:41:29 UTC

>weapon
>not good for fighting

2019-08-25 21:41:31 UTC

kek

2019-08-25 21:41:36 UTC

nahka not really if u knot metal pieces in it

2019-08-25 21:41:37 UTC

Even by christfaggots

2019-08-25 21:41:38 UTC

@Nahkasetä Right is match, left is disregard

2019-08-25 21:41:56 UTC

I prefer dual edged, but they're much harder to temper

2019-08-25 21:42:08 UTC

And they are more brittle
