im on the side of
Once again I bring up the army
free speech NEVER guarenteed lack of punishment
only lack of PREVENTION
BY THE LAW
by the law..
read you history
its not unlawful for a private company to fire you for shit you said
thats fine
the law cannot PREVENT you from speaking
it CAN punish for speech
Well...
this is what the first ammendment actually provided
Companies should tax their employees as a sort of micro state
Even worse
i..e. no law can be passed saying, "if you say 1, 2 is the penalty"
As if paying taxes once wasn't bad enough
but after you say 1, they can try to punish you
God i fucking love laying taxes
I want to pay a carbon tax to save the polar bears
i love the talking point where they want to give people more money by raising minimum wage, but also they want to raise taxes
And an income tax because I make more money than I should
And I want to pay a tax to my employer
And I need to be taxed by my college for using their facilities
God that would be my wet dream
@ManAnimal you should not be able to incur penalty by the state for speaking
Abolishing income tax is a radical idea but I'd like 40% more money so
i dont know how thats not clear
The US effectively works as if you are allowed to say whatever
Because if they punish you that is stopping you from saying it
ye
tbh
Abolishing income tax is not radical
I think a progressive income tax is understandable, but it is definitely overdone, and funding could be cut on numerous aspects to reduce tax rates.
Make the companies pay tax not the people
if you say shit and someone comes to your house and beats you up, thats your fault, and of course the beater-upper should be punished for beater-uppering
There is an argument for them say being like we will not hold our hand over your mouth and stop you from saying nigger but if you do you are going to jail mate
@ur mom college technically, they're supposed to
your punishment then is in the hands of the people that hear you
not the government with fines or jail
