than if we let them get on with their own devices

yeah, we enslaved them when we got there

but the alternative is that they enslave each other and kill each other, and are devoid of technllogy, medicine, clean water, etc

and, eventually, we did free them

it could have worked, but the advent of communism hurt things quite a bit

its like, compare american black history to african black history

every single time id rather exist as a black person throughout the last 400 years in america than in africa

if britain could exert moderate cultural influence from a distance things could have been atleast stable

but russia/china/japan and even america to an extent kind of just destabalized anr/or infested places with communism
