2019-10-16 23:56:39 UTC

@D3bug_logic starship troopers

2019-10-17 00:05:06 UTC

its eh sorry canada to you @Snake

2019-10-17 00:05:24 UTC

in some ways but i dont think only military service is essential

2019-10-17 00:06:38 UTC

i think that it is correct that for something to be worthwhile it must be earned

2019-10-17 01:17:33 UTC

@kennith @Sydoh No, you guys are both wrong. There needs to be a point when you refuse to vote for anyone. I'm not even saying we are necessarily at that point but, it is vital that we recognize that is a point.

2019-10-17 01:18:35 UTC

If you have to vote for one of the big 4 it would be better to vote Liberal imo. They are awful obviously but, we could have a better Conservative Party in the future but, they NEED to lose this election for them to change.

2019-10-17 01:18:58 UTC

If Andrew Scheer wins this election that will send the message 'what you are doing now is fine.'

2019-10-17 01:19:19 UTC

He if loses the CPC will be forced to change and we will have to try to force that into the right direction.

2019-10-17 01:19:46 UTC

A CPC Majority would be BY FAR the worst (realistic) outcome of this election.

2019-10-17 01:33:59 UTC

i very much doubt a majority conservative,
right now we are undergoing an attempt by the central government to consolidate power. Trudeau and co, NDP, greens and cons. Just wish to prevent creative destruction (SNC, boarders, healthcare) to push towards more efficient societies

SNC should be the biggest issue as it is protecting the corrupt and fearing creative destruction and rewarding bad behaviour

2019-10-17 01:41:17 UTC

There will be a conservative win, and a left coalition

2019-10-17 01:41:28 UTC

Conservative minority

2019-10-17 01:42:05 UTC

The globalist progressive left will show that they aren't really that different and join forces

2019-10-17 01:42:50 UTC

If Scheer has some personality it could've been a conservative majority

2019-10-17 01:43:26 UTC

Or $deity forbid max had won the conservative nomination

2019-10-17 01:43:52 UTC

But the globalist right Banded together and blocked him

2019-10-17 01:44:25 UTC

Also fucking what how did it come to the point where globalist isn't a conspiracy word

2019-10-17 02:01:59 UTC

@Settler's Lament I understand what you're getting at, but it doesn't work. Even if 50% of elgible voters abstained from voting, parliament would still be elected from the voters that DO vote. I dont' think it would be possible to convince the electorate to abstain from voting. As @Sydoh pointed out, if you DON'T vote, you defer your vote to those that DO vote.

I don't think there are even rules about a required minimum of voters that are required to consider the election valid.

What happens when only 10% of eligible voters vote.. I suspect, business as usual.

I don't disagree with you, Andrew Scheer and his party are NOT conservatives.
It's ridiculous, but the second best, and most realistic way for change to come to both the Lib/Con would be an NDP minority government. Which I do think would force another general election.

Obviously, best case scenario is a PPC majority, but we all know that's not very likely.

2019-10-17 02:03:25 UTC

@SkepticalWaves indeed, this globalist stuff was consipiracy theory 10 years ago. Maybe my unhinged Acoustics and Media teacher wasn't so unhinged after all...

2019-10-17 02:05:17 UTC

I'd have to say that Ottawa is doing a better job of this treason than the UK is 😛 I seriously wonder what would happen if we held a referrendum on immigration

2019-10-17 02:09:29 UTC

The 600mil buyoff of the media really helped

2019-10-17 02:10:21 UTC

At least Quebec is still based. If it weren't for all the French people

2019-10-17 02:11:27 UTC

🤣

2019-10-17 02:13:02 UTC

Seriously though it's an attempt at a white ethno state in everything but name

2019-10-17 02:13:25 UTC

The language barrier really helps keep it on the down low

2019-10-17 02:14:19 UTC

that is a very good point

2019-10-17 02:14:32 UTC

i do believe they have language police as well

2019-10-17 02:14:39 UTC

Indeed

2019-10-17 02:15:14 UTC

(<5 year anglo Quebecer here)

2019-10-17 02:15:40 UTC

Never been there, haven't been east of Edmonton 😳

2019-10-17 02:15:41 UTC

Shit ton of new politics I had to learn

2019-10-17 02:16:57 UTC

It's really weird to be appreciating the basedness and also realizing I'm unwanted by the majority

2019-10-17 02:18:44 UTC

I wonder how Bernier rings with Quebec.

2019-10-17 02:19:01 UTC

Not clear to me

2019-10-17 02:19:16 UTC

No policy on Quebec I suppose..

2019-10-17 02:19:20 UTC

It's a lot of effort to follow the serious french media for me

2019-10-17 02:19:32 UTC

He's going hard on the seperation of powrs

2019-10-17 02:19:35 UTC

I didn't understand most of the French debate, but it was waaaay better than the english one.

2019-10-17 02:19:52 UTC

Which is a soft Quebec nod

2019-10-17 02:20:20 UTC

Yeah, I was thinking that too.
