Police states and no freedom, no right to protest, no right to vote, no right to express - unless it is with the status quo
Yeah
It’s extremely vague laws
I am getting blackpilled to fuck with all this Bullshit <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
British politics piss me off so much
Nah, keep the hope alive.
For what
Why would we need hope
I genuinely don't understand 1) why the queen has said fuck all about the state of her realm, 2) someone isn't facing charges of treason by way of acting against the British people at this point 🤔
Though it's gonna be mighty dark before the dawn.
@S K E L L Y Ivanthenotsoterrible for not being a bitch
'Cause shit is bad and looking like it'll get worse.
It’s like pissing in the wind at this point
@Storin with regards to the queen I agree, she has the mandate and should've dismissed parliament when it showed to be subverting the referendum. However, doing so could easily be the end of the monarchy
I think she has far more support than parliament does tbh
Its no secret the British military hang effigies of politicians and shoot them and burn them <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
All this black pill is giving me a knack for the authoritarian rule
Yeah, I will admit that the perks of fascism is notable against the current backdrop.
My ideal is like a Roman republic type deal
I would rather take a monarch tyrant than democracy if this is where it leads tbh 🤔
Yeah
the best system is the current one, where there is a parliament and monarchy both fighting for public support
**A monarch tyrant?**
then if either become tyranical the 'people' can turn to the other
Well, push monarchy for too long and it gets bad, as well.
Yeah
the problem here is that our current monarch is apolitical
Would still take that tbh <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
The problem is our current parliament sucks major cock
If the queen ever took power I would re enlist tbh 🤷
push democracy too long and what happens?
look at france
for the past 200 years they've been through how much civil unrest
