Considering it's exclusive, probably not.

2019-09-03 08:17:25 UTC

Better luck in 2020, yo

browsing uplay and..achievement points you get just from playing games let you buy discounts..
did steam's last summer sale event just rip off uplay?

2019-09-03 08:36:08 UTC

Well, it was about as exploitable as your typical ubisoft game.

2019-09-03 08:36:16 UTC

Starbound soda ftw.

2019-09-03 08:38:18 UTC

looking at the catalog turns out they have a full store sale going on right now pretty much as cheap as steam sale prices but buying on uplay probably locks it to uplay only what a dilemma<:why:462286147473637407>

2019-09-03 08:38:54 UTC

I only ever installed uplay for the free games

2019-09-03 08:39:14 UTC

Except Ass Creed Unity, I couldn't be bothered to install uplay again

2019-09-03 08:40:33 UTC

its a decent launcher tbh, it only gets annoying when it syncs your saves everytime you close a game. and i dont know if its an asscreed only thing but the uplay UI in game gets pretty annoying

2019-09-03 08:41:22 UTC

at least its not battlenet that insists half or 100% of your PCs process should go to it just for downloading patches

2019-09-03 09:23:17 UTC

or what ever fucking launcher WoT or warthunder uses XD

2019-09-03 09:23:25 UTC

"why is my internet so shit?"

2019-09-03 09:23:30 UTC

"oh... fucking WoT"

2019-09-03 12:44:27 UTC

>launcher

2019-09-03 12:44:29 UTC

>decent

2019-09-03 12:44:31 UTC

Nani?!

2019-09-03 17:24:18 UTC

@Jokerfaic Hey question re: that crisis that spawned in your captial... What's their fleet strength and do you remember what the crisis multiplier you had set was?
I've got an overly high power level modded game with a mod setting me up for a three-way with the warp, tyranids, and necrons... and I've never actually played a game long enough (always died to trade lag) to see one of the crisis factions. I'm wanting to make sure it's not a steamroll in either direction due to my setting the crisis strength multiplier too high/low.

2019-09-03 17:25:35 UTC

gimme a sec, finishing up a bike ride

2019-09-03 17:25:44 UTC

No rush at all, I'm at work right now lol

2019-09-03 17:26:06 UTC

*though half the office didn't get in till 9 for some reason today*

2019-09-03 17:28:28 UTC

so hard being the only one with work ethic, amirite?

2019-09-03 17:28:34 UTC

I mean

2019-09-03 17:28:39 UTC

*I got in at 8:20*

2019-09-03 17:28:53 UTC

so stones and glass houses

2019-09-03 17:28:55 UTC

but

2019-09-03 17:37:24 UTC

Oh and I'd also like a pic of the map too; I seem to recall the 'nids prefer to land somewhere near the edge of the map

2019-09-03 17:37:31 UTC

but always kinda wanted proof

2019-09-03 17:49:45 UTC

Ok, so, check it

Crisis that came up was called Prethoryn Scourge, real basic, extragalactic consuming swarm.... so really perfect for modding nids in, tbh

2019-09-03 17:50:16 UTC

and yes, they land in a rim system

2019-09-03 17:50:43 UTC

which just so happens to fit the description of my fucking capital

2019-09-03 17:51:11 UTC

and iirc strength was either 1.0x or 0.5x

2019-09-03 17:51:52 UTC

first wave strength was around 30,000 or so per swarm, and there were about 3 or 4

2019-09-03 17:52:29 UTC

so, with two fleets averaging around 50,000, just beat them by skin of teeth

2019-09-03 17:53:18 UTC

but by nature of it being a crisis faction, their very appearance completely disabled everything in the system, including the big ass shipyard

2019-09-03 17:54:12 UTC

and while attempting to duct tape my fleets back together, main invasion force came in and just fucked me

2019-09-03 17:54:24 UTC

I'll see about a screenshot

2019-09-03 17:58:00 UTC

So combined power of like 190k?

2019-09-03 17:58:18 UTC

If you go to make a new game the crisis strength multiplier should remember what you last set it it

2019-09-03 17:58:30 UTC

nono, MY fleets were around 50,000 each
