The 12% is a car sellsman talking point, just throw a number, people rave on it, but doesn't understand the business surrounding it.
30% is the industry standard.
Discord takes 90%, and GMG takes 30% also.

And don't forget the mega sale, major publishers was not warned of the sale, and most backed out from it. Also that was when it was breaking trade laws MAP.
