Nah, too many will survive :^)

Vote for meteor is a vote wasted.

2019-09-04 04:41:42 UTC

Turns out the evidence shows the Amazon is perfectly fine.

2019-09-04 04:42:01 UTC

Still a damn nasty fire, but California is just laughing.

2019-09-04 04:42:09 UTC

There's stuff beyond us in life that is the cause of us. You can tell me "what, how, when" and *MAYBE* "who" if we encountered aliens or anything (even though it doesn't completely state why we exist here now as we do but who knows maybe the aliens will tell us and we can be their docile servants). But you can't explain "why" and a motivation for humanity as a whole to advance, belief in God with or without, is predicated on the why.

2019-09-04 04:42:11 UTC

It's not a nasty fire at all, it's normal

2019-09-04 04:42:25 UTC

They just wanted a narrative against the current president

2019-09-04 04:42:35 UTC

@JoeyJoestar1337 Statement, statements, statement pulled out of your ass.

2019-09-04 04:43:05 UTC

Not dying is pretty good motivation

2019-09-04 04:44:29 UTC

If only Christfucks obeyed their mottos like "facts don't care about your feelings" and applied that to things they run with feelings on.

2019-09-04 04:44:58 UTC

Aggressive lol

2019-09-04 04:45:09 UTC

But at least not retarded.

2019-09-04 04:45:27 UTC

It's just about being consistent

2019-09-04 04:45:40 UTC

You can either use your faith to justify things, or you can use evidence. Not both.

2019-09-04 04:45:51 UTC

I want honesty from people.

2019-09-04 04:46:03 UTC

Meaning if they use their faith, they shall say so

2019-09-04 04:46:20 UTC

This doesn't only concern Christians or other religious people, also scientists

2019-09-04 04:46:27 UTC

Politicians, anyone

2019-09-04 04:46:34 UTC

That's what science is tho. Faith and evidence.

2019-09-04 04:46:38 UTC

lol no

2019-09-04 04:46:50 UTC

Science is the pursuit of knowledge, faith has no place in it

2019-09-04 04:46:51 UTC

Like you have faith theres stuff beyond and explore

2019-09-04 04:46:56 UTC

omg

2019-09-04 04:47:08 UTC

Science does not care what the subject thinks

2019-09-04 04:47:16 UTC

It was actually a serious problem with scientists in the 19th and early 20th century. Became less about discovering the truth, and just becoming known as successful - damn the truth.

2019-09-04 04:47:33 UTC

Another point towards Pride being one of the more destructive of sins

2019-09-04 04:47:39 UTC

That sounds shitty lmao a science that doesn't care about itself.

2019-09-04 04:48:00 UTC

Science is a process, a method, it has no motive

2019-09-04 04:48:35 UTC

Its whole motive is through the human condition bud.

2019-09-04 04:48:44 UTC

For it to be a process it needs a motive

2019-09-04 04:48:46 UTC

Duh

2019-09-04 04:48:47 UTC

Wrong, you can divorce the human condition and still do science

2019-09-04 04:49:05 UTC

Humans are not the only creatures capable of doing science

2019-09-04 04:49:35 UTC

LOL

2019-09-04 04:49:43 UTC

As a method, it does not care who does it, nor does it need belief. Belief is not part of the equation, as at the core, it is meant to be entirely imperical.

2019-09-04 04:49:52 UTC

Science as we know it or what is science?

2019-09-04 04:50:13 UTC

Science does not require human input

2019-09-04 04:50:28 UTC

You think orangutans do science?

2019-09-04 04:50:33 UTC

Yes, they do

2019-09-04 04:51:15 UTC

Yeah bud and 1000 monkeys somewhere right now is writing what Shakespeare wanted to write about after he died.

2019-09-04 04:51:40 UTC

They can gather memories of action -> reaction and adjust their behavior accordingly
