both probablly

2019-09-03 15:11:43 UTC

It would be split

2019-09-03 15:12:13 UTC

Reeeeee.

2019-09-03 15:12:28 UTC

Line up and shoot the remainers tbh

2019-09-03 15:12:31 UTC

Many of the officers seem to be reasonably right wing with some probably harbouring Far-Right sympathies but the top individuals in the army tend to be quite Left Leaning

2019-09-03 15:12:49 UTC

The remainers are traitors and enemies of the people

2019-09-03 15:13:18 UTC

If the shoe was on the other foot they would show us no mercy

2019-09-03 15:13:38 UTC

I totally agree

2019-09-03 15:14:01 UTC

Hang them as traitors to the crown! 😆

2019-09-03 15:15:47 UTC

@The Electric Lizard I found the article on it!

2019-09-03 15:16:09 UTC

Unironically the enemy, which remainers are, are gettinf more violent

2019-09-03 15:16:13 UTC

It won't make much difference

2019-09-03 15:16:22 UTC

Johnson was going to lose the vote regardless

2019-09-03 15:16:30 UTC

He is about 20 votes short

2019-09-03 15:17:01 UTC

So Philip Lee crossing the floor doesn't mean much

2019-09-03 15:17:18 UTC

How the hell did they get this vote on the table so quickly?

2019-09-03 15:17:24 UTC

His best option is either going to be calling a GE or advising the Queen not to sign

2019-09-03 15:17:33 UTC

Grand so the cultist enemy are really wanting to fight

2019-09-03 15:17:42 UTC

Mps leaving a party should trigger an immediate byelection

2019-09-03 15:17:44 UTC

Because the Speaker chooses the votes and he is Pro-Remain

2019-09-03 15:18:11 UTC

The speaker needs to be removed as he's no longer impartial

2019-09-03 15:18:23 UTC

That was obvious months ago

2019-09-03 15:18:30 UTC

There is not real way to do it though

2019-09-03 15:18:46 UTC

Ye we can't called a vote of no confidence in him again

2019-09-03 15:19:00 UTC

I really wish we had the American political system which would have granted more executive power to Boris

2019-09-03 15:19:09 UTC

Surely though if he's acting against the laws of parliament then he can be removed?

2019-09-03 15:19:23 UTC

Not with the enemy in charge

2019-09-03 15:19:26 UTC

I would imagine it is possible somehow

2019-09-03 15:19:28 UTC

He seems to be above laws in that role

2019-09-03 15:19:39 UTC

I am not an expert on Parliament though so i don't know

2019-09-03 15:21:47 UTC

They are debating the vote in Parliament now if anyone wants to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93Z2mTFebV0

2019-09-03 15:22:16 UTC

There isn't actually any law about the speaker's impartiallity, just convention

2019-09-03 15:22:37 UTC

noice

2019-09-03 15:22:42 UTC

ty for the link man

2019-09-03 15:23:17 UTC

at the same time there is a convention of allowing a speaker to be unopposed during an election. something the tories have been hinting at dismissing this time.

2019-09-03 15:23:29 UTC

I have a horrible feeling the anti brexit alliance is going to place it's jackboot in the face of democracy today

2019-09-03 15:23:32 UTC

i.e. replacing bercow

2019-09-03 15:23:46 UTC

@system11 I don't think it will

2019-09-03 15:23:54 UTC

I think at the end of all this we will leave without a deal
