I like Paradox games in the middle of their update cycle.

I tried CK2 once, I failed miserably very soon

CK2 is just silly

It's not a game, it's an experience

I was able to play Stellaris though, so I think that when it released it was sub-standard by paradox'S standards of complicatedness

Then it got nicely complicated

Of course ever since 2.0 it's a different game

Then it got too complicated

that planetfall plays like youre witnessing someone else's campaign, just get shit for failing xcom missions thrown in here and there

Then it tried to make sense of things, but just fucked over the community-loved New Horizons mod
