good luck telling people that they don't deserve to things they've earned over the course of their lives and try to take them without force
just try to convince the majority that anarchism the way to go
good luck with that...
that's probably why guilt is such a common weapon these days, demoralise people into thinking they need to give things up to repent for their crimes imagined up by others
Even if you have loads of shit governments for centuries like the Germans, anarchism never really gains major traction
The "Gibs more" or "Gibs me that" mentality
I enjoy endlessly how some anarchists and communists (henceforth, "commies") think that the workers are with them, then finding out that they really are not and after that changing the terms that "workers" is basically anyone who has a useless university degree and agree with them on everything
hence why gender studies became a thing ^^^
It's also a dead end degree lol
that's what makes it amusing, the willful blindness that they wouldn't be the first enemy of the workers in their supposed communist utopia
Hey
Keep it down
What?
Onto the topic of college
What's the say on that
I just recently got into university
but most folks seem to be anti-communist here
I'm in my last year of my bachelor degree in game art
it's a business focused Uni 😄
That's probably why then lol
At this stage I don't think I'd want to go to uni, feels like you have to be more careful than ever picking one without a crazy population
Luckily higher education has evaded me mostly
there are still a few commies, they're studying... sociology or cultural stuff usually
Hey guys
What about History?
I study that daily x)
I agree, technical degrees should be a safe bet
I mean at college
nobody studies history anymore obv
I only care about the results of history
I do. I plan to be a History Teacher.
Technical degrees are safe, economics mostly and everything else less so. Or so I've gathered from my inside sources
Don't give a damn if a president ate a sandwich on this date
Might vary from country to country obviously
In all seriousness I quite enjoyed history class growing up, was one of my favourites... Even if it was a big heavily focused on world war 2 and the tudors, would've been nice to spread the topics a little more.
Yeah economics is not clear of "left-minded" people, but there are no socialists in my courses that I am aware of
LOL that is not the History I learned, at least not in High School.
Business weeds out most of the left because they can't even begin to understand it's foundation
I learned a lot more about it with my own studies over the years afterwards
Memorization is not nearly as important as the lessons learned from history.
