even manpower might become a more valuable resource
Not only that but small communities wouldn't really need to vote because you already know the people ~~or should~~
people's standards of living would certainly drop, if they're limited to what their particular tribe has available
no one will be able to specialise anymore because everyone will have to work the fields
To be fair, while I had some fun discussing things like anarchy in the past, I usually refuse to even debate anarchy these days. It's a waste of time.
so no more scientists, engineers, ...
Anarchy is universally bad.
then of course medical standards would drop because not everywhere can have well trained doctors, even if they do could they afford them etc?
Amen to that Ulon
And most sane people agree...
Anarchy is certainly a worthless proposition, but it's still entertaining to pick it apart
Garbage views are always fun to pick apart 'w'
I guess that they think that anarchy will just happen overnight, without any loss of infrastructure and workers will take over factories and hospitals autonomously and everything will be more or less as now, but free from oppression etc
It definitely is when there is someone with you who wants it 😄
But I did not have that opportunity in a very long time
same, haven't met an anarchist ever since I left high school
I put it down among all the other ideologies that only work when you are 15 and "seem cool"
shame these seem to be lasting with people well into adulthood nowadays
Some war would quickly fix that
hard times make strong men, ... and all that
Makes people grateful for what they have when they realize how quickly life can be extinguished
Dragon, I don't think that problem with anarchists is very new
Sounds like the description of Twitter
Or social media in general lol
Which is my main source of left-wing lunacy
I once read about pre-civil war Spain and it seems that they were busy assassinating important folks back then
Not even communists (though these would become friends later on), just "anarchists"
I would imagine that's a common first step, if not a required one. How else will you forcibly remove people from power without bloodshed?
Doesn't matter how big of guns you have
A massive horde will typically win against those with power
good luck telling people that they don't deserve to things they've earned over the course of their lives and try to take them without force
just try to convince the majority that anarchism the way to go
good luck with that...
that's probably why guilt is such a common weapon these days, demoralise people into thinking they need to give things up to repent for their crimes imagined up by others
Even if you have loads of shit governments for centuries like the Germans, anarchism never really gains major traction
The "Gibs more" or "Gibs me that" mentality
I enjoy endlessly how some anarchists and communists (henceforth, "commies") think that the workers are with them, then finding out that they really are not and after that changing the terms that "workers" is basically anyone who has a useless university degree and agree with them on everything
hence why gender studies became a thing ^^^
It's also a dead end degree lol
that's what makes it amusing, the willful blindness that they wouldn't be the first enemy of the workers in their supposed communist utopia
