court systems for local matters

2019-11-30 02:09:21 UTC

Wait, wrong person X)

2019-11-30 02:09:34 UTC

@RooHappeh Disregard my farewell

2019-11-30 02:10:04 UTC

but that's when I'm drunk, when sober I understand some forms of welfare of good and required for a healthy society but I tend to go to th extreme when discussing politics when I'm drunk for some reason

2019-11-30 02:10:17 UTC

I don't drink anymore though, been to jail toooooo many times because of that

2019-11-30 02:10:22 UTC

LUL

2019-11-30 02:10:38 UTC

Blagh

2019-11-30 02:10:45 UTC

Hello

2019-11-30 02:10:51 UTC

Ah, that might be due to when being drunk, you're released from most immediate self evaluation.

2019-11-30 02:10:54 UTC

Welfare isn't necessarily required

2019-11-30 02:10:57 UTC

Fellow furry

2019-11-30 02:11:12 UTC

@RooHappeh I don't think the state should be doing welfare at all.

2019-11-30 02:11:14 UTC

ever

2019-11-30 02:11:16 UTC

The best would be increasing social cohesion

2019-11-30 02:11:20 UTC

local communities can handle that best.

2019-11-30 02:11:27 UTC

Well, then it's not welfare but charity

2019-11-30 02:11:29 UTC

Politics < polydicks

2019-11-30 02:11:37 UTC

if someone in the local community is shunned and no one wants to help them, well they shouldn't have been a piece of shit in their community

2019-11-30 02:11:58 UTC

for perspective, I admire the amish

2019-11-30 02:12:00 UTC

Welfare kinda implies state

2019-11-30 02:12:25 UTC

oops

2019-11-30 02:12:32 UTC

@Acridian - Full agreement there. I'm from Britbongistan. I know 2 families that have been on welfare for 3 generations. That's three generations of families that have never worked.

2019-11-30 02:12:37 UTC

I stand corrected @RooHappeh

2019-11-30 02:13:17 UTC

The only welfare that government could do is providing job c:

2019-11-30 02:13:35 UTC

@RooHappeh I don't like the state giving anyone anything for "Free". that only makes people more lazy in my experience

2019-11-30 02:13:38 UTC

@RooHappeh - And there's the birth of middle management.

2019-11-30 02:13:43 UTC

and if they can't afford to feed their own children then they shouldn't have them

2019-11-30 02:14:02 UTC

As much as most people think that stuff should be fully privatized, I think that it is possible to make governmental investments

2019-11-30 02:14:11 UTC

But subsidies should be prohibited

2019-11-30 02:14:19 UTC

If it's not bringing profit

2019-11-30 02:14:23 UTC

It shouldn't exist

2019-11-30 02:14:24 UTC

bailouts are evil

2019-11-30 02:14:42 UTC

^ look at Iceland and the bankers

2019-11-30 02:14:55 UTC

it's almost like with the religions that allow you to repent no matter what you've done. no incentive to not do it in the first place if you're just going to be bailed out

2019-11-30 02:15:08 UTC

no reason to try harder to be profitable and streamlined

2019-11-30 02:15:14 UTC

However I have no issue with government investing into industry given they expect it to be profitable

2019-11-30 02:15:23 UTC

investing yes

2019-11-30 02:15:37 UTC

Consider this, if you were managing your company the way government manages itself

2019-11-30 02:15:46 UTC

I'm talking about when an industry is tanking because of bad business management or embezzlement situations

2019-11-30 02:15:46 UTC

You would go bankrupt within 2 years

2019-11-30 02:15:52 UTC

yeah
