you don't think that China had killed 85 million people yet? starting from the great leap forward the already had between 18 and 56 million under their belt, so call that an average of 37 million. I think the Chinese Government has killed far more than the 50 Million they would need to top world War 2 in the last 40 years
Well, generally-speaking, we don't count the number of people the Nazis killed before 1 September 1939, when it comes to World War II casualties. Same goes for Japan prior to 7 December 1941.

That was not the aim. I apologies. My original statement was supposed to be read more like "China Has already killed more than the entire second world war, and we have sat here silently for decades just allowing it to grow in power. When we look back and say how horrible the holocaust and yet allow something ten times worse to go on for even longer. History will judge us poorly."

The Liberals should have the courage to stand up to the Chinese, because Communist China is a big threat to the free world. If the Liberals don’t have the balls to do it, perhaps the Tories should take over the government instead.
As a Hongkonger, I feel like the free world hasn’t been taking the Chinese threat seriously, most likely because the politicians are making loads of money in China.
