NI is good because a lot of it is contributed by the employer

NI makes the UK uncompetitive

if your wage is 30k your employer is paying in the region of 35k for you

You're not in a surplus, tax revenue from corporation tax and higher rates increased in line with the laffer curve, but other revenue increases will come from reduced joblessness and increased population
