your energy bill for your home is 5% vat

More important to scrap VAT on fuel than to increase the tax-free allowance

vat is a tool you want to keep in the emergency case of a recession

if there is a recession they can reduce it to 15% or something

Nobody is suggesting scrapping VAT entirely, just removing it from essentials where tax is disproportionately affecting the poor

the boiler here is the one that was put in when the property was built... they dont do parts for it anymore

luckily thanks to the tories I have a bigger personal allowance, plus they scrapped ftb stamp duty, which saved me about 10k

its not enough for me to afford a new boiler... but its something

Think we need to look at the bigger picture Socialism (marxist and national), communism along with many other platforms have not worked, the conservatives to me are bastards but there honest bastards i dont like them personally but Labour are bigger and worse than them in my book there isnt a fit party or handful of politicians in Westminster, Holyrood or the Welsh and Northern Irish assembly. There needs to be a complete shake up and revamp and people need to be at the centre of that none of them have the common sense or the balls to do it imo.
