No I didn't?
And Mosley even said he would be a failure if he didn't become PM
The point is that the few peaceful Fascists never got close to taking power
I didn't say he was sucessful
I said he tried, through the democratic process

The Fascists that did take power did so almost exclusively using violent means
Mosley got close, except when the government banned his party.
You said Mosley had a peaceful transition to power
Which he didn't
No he didn't @HunterxTitan
No I didn't.
Because he never had power
Yes you did
He didn't even win a single seat @HunterxTitan
I said he tried, to use the peaceful transition of power.
How is that close?
Because his party was banned..
Look at public support at the time.
His Party was around for a long time before that
Support which increased after the battle of cable street
To its highest levels.
He didn't gain any power
Remember he had the New Party for a few years which didn't win any seats and then he had the BUF which also didn't win any seats
And he had a brawl with the working class because they hated him and his policies
Mispoke.
Sure you did, Weez
As I was saying, he attempted the peaceful transition of power.
Then, what happened after the battle of cable street.
The more Fascist he became the less support he got
They continued to gain support.
The New Party came dead last in most seats but got close in about 2
The BUF did even worse
Then the BUF came, where he continued to gain public support.
Contesting By Elections and getting less then 5% of the vote
The BUF was then banned by the government.
They contested three by-elections before then
Again. After the battle of cable street, they continued to gain support.
And came last in all of them
