we only absorb 2% of the iron in spinach once we digest it
and 100mg of spinach only contains ~2.5mg of iron
compared to 3.5 mg or iron in 100g or beef
or 11mg of iron in 100g or chicken liver
and compared to the 2% of iron we asorb from spinach, we asborb ~40% of the iron in meat
so meat is not only higher in iron, we also absorb 20x more of it when we eat it

the bioavailibility of plants is nothing compared to animal products
technically you can get your daily amount of iron form eating spinach, but your gonna have to eat about a pound of it
compared to about 250g of steak
we are not cows, we do not have 4 stomachs to slowly break down and pull out all the nuitients we need from plants
cows can get almost all of the iron out of the spinach, dut to their digestive track

peanuts have a 43% bioavilibility index for protein
compared to 85 for beef
