Bloody femoids.

2019-11-28 21:13:09 UTC

If the choice was between

1. Aiming to proactively influence China
2. Draining the remaining 98% swamp

Which long term effort (will) would probably have the highest ROI for American citizens?

>Timcast

2019-11-28 21:36:43 UTC

Cringe.

Yikes, and you say TIM'S cringe

2019-11-28 21:49:27 UTC

I don't understand people who outright dislike Time Pool.

2019-11-28 21:49:58 UTC

It's like they've only see things from 2nd perspective.

2019-11-28 21:50:09 UTC

Tim's a pretty solid dude.

2019-11-28 21:50:21 UTC

I can listen to the guy, he does bring healthy discussion...

2019-11-28 21:50:30 UTC

I just can't stand his fence sitting...

2019-11-28 21:50:52 UTC

He's gotten really good at digging in the news cycles.

2019-11-28 21:51:01 UTC

And the repeated "I respect X or Y" for generally doing one thing while having so much more dubious stuff on the side.

2019-11-28 21:51:19 UTC

Nothing wrong with understand both sides of the argument.

2019-11-28 21:51:26 UTC

Ah and also "It's complicated" when the issues he brings up are pretty straightforward.

2019-11-28 21:51:31 UTC

If anything it's beneficial.

2019-11-28 21:52:36 UTC

All that isn't enough for me to just flip off at Tim.

But I can certainly get where some people are coming from when they criticize him.

2019-11-28 21:53:31 UTC

I dunno, saying that he doesn't agree with you 100% isn't very good criticism

2019-11-28 21:53:52 UTC

Personally, I find that he rants too much.

2019-11-28 21:54:28 UTC

I've been watching him for a long time so his stories have gotten pretty stale to me. Other than that he's pretty spot on politically.

2019-11-28 21:55:04 UTC

I'm moderate though, so maybe I'm just not edgy enough.

2019-11-28 22:00:45 UTC

... How did you read that I was expecting him to agree with me politically? I was merely pointing him that he's way too neutral on some points by overly tossing the sentence "It's complicated." when what he says can be pretty straight forward.

He does rant, but that's understandable when you gotta read the same shit over and over and see the madness that is American politics.

2019-11-28 22:01:02 UTC

Too Neutral?

2019-11-28 22:01:39 UTC

For example when South Park made the transgender athletics episode.

2019-11-28 22:02:06 UTC

He makes an effort to represent all sides, if he didn't it would really be Tim Pool.

2019-11-28 22:02:23 UTC

He's what the news should be.

2019-11-28 22:02:49 UTC

Here's what we know, here's what these people think. You make up your mind.

2019-11-28 22:03:31 UTC

Subverse is great as well, and no Tim. lol

2019-11-28 22:04:01 UTC

Tim Pool, cess pool.

2019-11-28 22:04:04 UTC

Carry on.

2019-11-28 22:04:24 UTC

True poetry.

2019-11-28 22:04:30 UTC

cringing at the cringy cringe

2019-11-28 22:04:36 UTC

The point he makes could easily be summed up in shorter sentences. You can represent all sides but if one is muddling up the waters while you can straight say what's really going on... Eeeh man OK sure but make my time worthwhile.

2019-11-28 22:05:04 UTC

Anyway. T'was a nice chat but it's bloody late where I am.

2019-11-28 22:05:15 UTC

He's alright, just not really my cup of tea.

2019-11-28 22:05:27 UTC

I think he does do that. He's been pretty on point about the Trump impeachment crap.

2019-11-28 22:06:09 UTC

Especially when he talks, I'm not sure I've ever really state his own stance; seems as though he talks in theories and abstracts rather than himself.

2019-11-28 22:06:28 UTC

Just never been able to get a solid bead on him.

2019-11-28 22:06:45 UTC

I disagree. You must not have watched enough.

2019-11-28 22:07:08 UTC

I think it's pretty obvious where he's at, more left to me, for sure.
