You can make bullpup out of most weapons

2019-11-26 20:28:29 UTC

But the return spring location won't be optimal

2019-11-26 20:28:47 UTC

^

2019-11-26 20:28:57 UTC

Anything is possible *technically*

2019-11-26 20:29:06 UTC

Doesn't mean it'll be good lol

2019-11-26 20:29:09 UTC

Also ergonomics of bullpups are somewhat awkward in many ways

2019-11-26 20:29:28 UTC

Albeit mag change is a matter of training

2019-11-26 20:29:41 UTC

Bullpup 50bmg

2019-11-26 20:29:46 UTC

One can get as good and as fast with bullpup as with any other gun

2019-11-26 20:29:51 UTC

Also its near the end of NNN so get ready to nut big

2019-11-26 20:30:08 UTC

We all failed already

2019-11-26 20:30:42 UTC

The main issues of bullpups so far are mushy triggers (because of long link) and being unbalanced (rear part being too heavy)

2019-11-26 20:31:30 UTC

remind me, what is any benefit of bullpups?

2019-11-26 20:31:40 UTC

keltech has proven that, one can, in fact, make bullpups with good triggers

2019-11-26 20:31:44 UTC

Shorter over-all length, making the weapon more maneuverable.

2019-11-26 20:31:48 UTC

So it is not an inherent problem

2019-11-26 20:32:00 UTC

Can be solved aye

2019-11-26 20:32:05 UTC

Mushy trigger can be fixed yeah, it just takes a lot of design effort

2019-11-26 20:32:12 UTC

Balance though is a lot harder to change

2019-11-26 20:32:14 UTC

*trigger bars* or whatever they're called don't have to be shite

2019-11-26 20:32:26 UTC

It's just a lot cheaper

2019-11-26 20:32:35 UTC

especially because in some ways the balance being back heavy is actually part of the point

2019-11-26 20:32:47 UTC

as it makes the front end easier to swing around fast

2019-11-26 20:33:01 UTC

you know the whole "mobility" point of the gun

2019-11-26 20:33:18 UTC

downside: recoil sucks

2019-11-26 20:33:30 UTC

In a conventional gun, your magazine is between both of your hands, hence when it empties, you don't feel the difference
That's because the mag is close to the gun's center of balance and it does not make it pivot any which way

2019-11-26 20:34:00 UTC

Loaded or empty mag on bullpup is a very noticeable difference though

2019-11-26 20:34:19 UTC

Both an advantage and a disadvantage tbh

2019-11-26 20:34:27 UTC

Yes, it depends

2019-11-26 20:34:31 UTC

Perk is that it's easier to "feel" how much you got left

2019-11-26 20:34:52 UTC

Downside is that it's gonna affect your aim recovery more lol

2019-11-26 20:35:08 UTC

Like it especially matters for shouldering this thing

2019-11-26 20:35:17 UTC

Oh yeah i can imagine

2019-11-26 20:35:27 UTC

Yo will be sure to notice the mag is full <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>
