The focus on anger is just false, the Bible plainly states that anger in itself is not sinful, but can lead to sin. Love on the other hand is a powerful motivator that can lead us to passionately reproach people who are in error, Love is also the powerful motivator that can drive us to be above reproach (walking in a way that people cannot honestly reproach us)

@Szayel's Pooppion Jesus was angry with what the moneychangers/pharisees had done, turning the temple into a markeplace, instead of taking it out on them, He dealt directly with the problem, knocking over the moneychanger tables etc.

i still don't have that kind of faith that would cause me to believe the bible equals God

God is the Word, God created all things with the Word, Jesus is the Word, so are God's recorded communications with humanity

"bible equals God" is a strawman though, God gave us the Bible, and the Bible says so

and the only reason you've ever heard of Jesus, is the Bible
