but there doesn't seem to exist a formal definition of "mass __shooting__"; but usage seems to fall in line with those #s - just "injured" instead of "killed"

note, when you see a report of "X people injured in mass shooting", that also doesn't necessarily mean that all those injured were shot. just *injured at the event*.
