The champion buying model in smite is alright. You get currency for every match you play, even against bots, and god prises are all the same except for a few cheap gods and the latest one, which costs twice as much as the regular price for other gods

Paladins' champions were relatively pricey compared to gold gain the last time I played (much much more than when I started), but of course there were tiers

You can buy gods for gems, 200 each, which is terrible, and you can buy the god pass which gives you every god for free for all eternity

They did some conversion thing, I think it was with the runes, and I got a ton of the shit from it

which to me was fairly worth buying, as i've played a lot of gods throughout my hours, but that also means I could have bought all gods after enough playtime

Ditto for Paladins. And I'm glad I did that because you know what, people got fucked majorly. It gave you voicepacks.

But if you don't have that, voicepacks cost like 200 crystals each

I heard they changed it a few months back to gold though so that's cool

The last time I played smite I changed my username to GMHunBatz because I was tired of the name I had and the only god I enjoyed playing anymore was Hun Batz

a braindead god that a one-handed toddler could play, but I had fun with his simplistic kit

got a lot of dumb kills and messed about with his ult a lot
