And the irony is, I like autistic simulations of almost any topic, but especially if it's military simulation, flight simulation or even stuff like Firewatch (too bad Campo Santo are bunch of SJWs). It still needs to be **engaging gameplay** (rather than just engaging story), and by some miraculous reason, Kojima seems to have somewhat failed at making it that. Maybe by adding fourth wall breaking moments after another right from the get-go. And the difficulty, I hear, is toned down so much that it's "Games Journalist" level even when played at hardest. You can basically run from BTs in straight line. Or failing that, you can just wait to "die" and resurrect by joining back to your body. The craters created by explosions of you "dying" don't really cause much nuisance.
The game engine does look promising so I hope this isn't the end of Kojima.
