he's allowed to veto a resoltion
they just need a greater majority now
but instead he made it his personal fucking war, which the president is not allowed to fucking do
ya, good luck with that
The really sad thing is at this point I don't think he's even pretending to be retarded, I think he might actually, legitimately be.
well he wants to have sex with his sister so...

@excursion12 (redha, richtginger) that's a redundant phrase
its very clear, I'm literally citing it now
but true
You're citing it incorrectly then
to be fair I haven't seen a citation from either of you
" It provides that the U.S. President can send the Armed Forces into action abroad only by declaration of war by Congress, "statutory authorization," or in case of "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces." "
Because again, WHY THE FUCK would the Dems, who have been LONGING to impeach Trump, go for some weak ass shit like what they're currently going for when they could have gotten him on abuse of power re: military deployment.
that 'national emergency' got us into iraq and afganistan, and by rights ended when bin laden bit dust
don't just quote something, give us the citation
big oof
Plus also he hasn't explained yet how Trump violated it
<:kektab:284338961759993857>
you want me to repost the article? I mean ok
I absolutely fucing did, what the fuck is wrong with you
joker you didn't read far enough
Trump is operating in yemen against the explicit consent of congress
no he vetoed their resolution
if they override he has 30 days to withdraw
the fact they had the fucking resolution in the first place proves their lack of consent
let me guess, they need a super majority to override?
I think the senate fell through on their part, but yes
2/3 vote
then get cucked
to override
<:smugon:512048583806025739>
Except no you didn't. You made a vague claim that Trump violated it because you think it's been longer than 60 days. Except it clearly hasn't, because otherwise the dems would impeach for that instead of Ukraine if they could. Which MOST LIKELY means that the 60 days definition is able to be reset by doing some logistical shenanigans, and that's probably what's happening.
