2019-11-14 20:12:49 UTC

2019-11-14 20:12:58 UTC

2019-11-14 20:13:03 UTC

ya, good luck with that

2019-11-14 20:13:38 UTC

The really sad thing is at this point I don't think he's even pretending to be retarded, I think he might actually, legitimately be.

@excursion12 (redha, richtginger) that's a redundant phrase

2019-11-14 20:14:55 UTC

its very clear, I'm literally citing it now

2019-11-14 20:14:56 UTC

but true

2019-11-14 20:15:12 UTC

You're citing it incorrectly then

2019-11-14 20:15:26 UTC

to be fair I haven't seen a citation from either of you

2019-11-14 20:15:55 UTC

" It provides that the U.S. President can send the Armed Forces into action abroad only by declaration of war by Congress, "statutory authorization," or in case of "a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces." "

2019-11-14 20:15:58 UTC

Because again, WHY THE FUCK would the Dems, who have been LONGING to impeach Trump, go for some weak ass shit like what they're currently going for when they could have gotten him on abuse of power re: military deployment.

2019-11-14 20:16:20 UTC

that 'national emergency' got us into iraq and afganistan, and by rights ended when bin laden bit dust

2019-11-14 20:16:34 UTC

don't just quote something, give us the citation

2019-11-14 20:16:38 UTC

big oof

2019-11-14 20:16:54 UTC

Plus also he hasn't explained yet how Trump violated it

2019-11-14 20:17:01 UTC

2019-11-14 20:17:16 UTC

I absolutely fucing did, what the fuck is wrong with you

2019-11-14 20:17:25 UTC

joker you didn't read far enough

2019-11-14 20:17:30 UTC

Trump is operating in yemen against the explicit consent of congress

2019-11-14 20:17:42 UTC

no he vetoed their resolution

2019-11-14 20:17:51 UTC

if they override he has 30 days to withdraw

2019-11-14 20:18:04 UTC

the fact they had the fucking resolution in the first place proves their lack of consent

2019-11-14 20:18:06 UTC

let me guess, they need a super majority to override?

2019-11-14 20:18:32 UTC

I think the senate fell through on their part, but yes

2019-11-14 20:18:39 UTC

2/3 vote

2019-11-14 20:18:40 UTC

then get cucked

2019-11-14 20:18:42 UTC

to override

2019-11-14 20:18:43 UTC

<:smugon:512048583806025739>

2019-11-14 20:18:52 UTC

Except no you didn't. You made a vague claim that Trump violated it because you think it's been longer than 60 days. Except it clearly hasn't, because otherwise the dems would impeach for that instead of Ukraine if they could. Which MOST LIKELY means that the 60 days definition is able to be reset by doing some logistical shenanigans, and that's probably what's happening.
