ye thats fair enough lol

2019-11-15 12:22:32 UTC

it requires both the innovative part and deductive part of the brain to work together and doesn't require any special conditioning to solve

2019-11-15 12:22:53 UTC

testing in a classroom is as much a function of social conditioning as anything

2019-11-15 12:23:09 UTC

you might just not give a fuck about the test

2019-11-15 12:23:24 UTC

you might have been raised on a farm and hate the classroom

2019-11-15 12:23:28 UTC

see people here consider 4 points a massive difference for some reason

2019-11-15 12:23:31 UTC

is this what you're talking about

2019-11-15 12:23:38 UTC

yep

2019-11-15 12:23:40 UTC

In all honesty... IQ was *never* meant to measure how **smart** someone is
Its goal was to find out where the cutoff is for a person that cannot be possibly employed or drafted because they are too dumb, or even disabled
(that's IQ of 83 and 75 respecively btw)

2019-11-15 12:23:49 UTC

hey remember the "amazon bushfires" fake news propaganda?

2019-11-15 12:23:58 UTC

IQ is a poor measure of how genius one is

2019-11-15 12:23:59 UTC

whilst proper iq testing is done over months because the spread of your individual iq can be substantial enough depending on how your day's been

2019-11-15 12:24:02 UTC

it does function as a measurement of pattern recognition and abstract reasoning skill

2019-11-15 12:24:08 UTC

noice

2019-11-15 12:24:10 UTC

Tower of Hanoi is a very basic but very consistent measure of intelligence

2019-11-15 12:24:34 UTC

i guess you would need more discs for it to be useful

2019-11-15 12:24:54 UTC

was the recent amazon bushfires thing fake?

2019-11-15 12:24:55 UTC

The problem with higher range of IQ is that the number is non-specific

2019-11-15 12:25:01 UTC

a jungle bunnie or an educated white kid has the same ability to solve the puzle

2019-11-15 12:25:07 UTC

or is it real now?

2019-11-15 12:25:11 UTC

i doubt that

2019-11-15 12:25:24 UTC

And you don't want to hire an ingenious biologist to solve nuclear physics problems

2019-11-15 12:25:25 UTC

one day i will translate it

2019-11-15 12:25:27 UTC

uhhh

2019-11-15 12:25:29 UTC

Well

2019-11-15 12:25:32 UTC

if you gib sheckles on patreon 😛

2019-11-15 12:25:35 UTC

very true Uksio

2019-11-15 12:25:46 UTC

they are differnt forms of intelligence

2019-11-15 12:25:48 UTC

IQ is useful for excellent capability in jerking yourself off over a big brain

2019-11-15 12:25:55 UTC

^^

2019-11-15 12:25:57 UTC

buncha rude slacked jawed faggots in here

2019-11-15 12:25:59 UTC

on THIS we agree

2019-11-15 12:26:03 UTC

:L

2019-11-15 12:26:15 UTC

Very high IQs are all different, and differently smart

2019-11-15 12:26:30 UTC

i went into a thread of high iq folk once

2019-11-15 12:26:31 UTC

Someone with better spacial reasoning is not the same as abstract logic

2019-11-15 12:26:32 UTC

creativity=/=iq

2019-11-15 12:26:39 UTC

I will also say that anyone paying Sargon monthly automatically has low IQ

2019-11-15 12:26:42 UTC

they were all saying they're over 130 and doing shit with AI and design and shit

2019-11-15 12:26:43 UTC

most high IQs lack common sense and the ability to apply that intelligence
