He defends the freedom of expression and the market in my opinion.
@Death in June Call him whatever you like but he DOES wants a free market economy and civil rights for all.
"free market economy" is contrary to traditional american values
He ain't some confederate racist bastard as you would like to call him.
@Death in June No, it isn't.
what values he defends is less important than his actions. So far he has, despite the democrat obstructionism, been committed to securing the border. Not to mention, he has brought back manufacturing jobs. Not as many as promised, sure, but something is better than nothing
It's quintessential for them.
he's easily the best option america has at the moment
it is contrary
That freedom he defends is what would eventually make China, Russia and unfortunately-the EU anger at him.
unless I am shown a better alternative that is just a feasible as the god emperor, but I don't see that coming anytime soon
And then the fate of the world will quite literally lie in the hands of the AR-15 rednecks.
yes, they are pissed at him because he is essentially a massive roadblock to their plans
that alone makes him very good, in my opinion
Hope Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Italy and a few other stand by them too, but am not yet too big on that promise.
ew taiwan
Yes, they will.
they rely on America for basically everything, and they are used to America just bending over. With Trump, they're not getting that nearly as much
Cause they just hate the CCP.
and they fucking hate it
but yeah the "free market" as we describe it is not a traditional american value
neither the jeffersonians nor hamiltonians supported such a thing
jefferson was an outright anti-capitalist
opposing generalized wage labor
what would you support then? mixed economy?
I think it is completely in the spirit of classical American liberalism, so it is as conservative as it gets.
i would support a variant of national syndicalism
I would argue from a cultural standpoint free market liberalism is closer to the American core values than syndicalism.
i don't see why
Because it is quite literally build on the value of liberty which runs deep in all other aspects of the classical American cultural tradition.
free market to support competition and innovation, with some government balances in place to stop monopolies or cabals
small business oriented
Why won't you support the most liberal economic system out there when your entire culture is based on the idea of liberty?
the dominance of vast holdings of capital concentrated in private hands directly contravenes what the founding fathers advocated for
This is why there is anti-trust regulation.
There just must be someone willing to actually implement it.
it's not particularly useful
especially when we consider that economies of scale are a reality
Cause the power elites are corrupt, not because the legislation itself is in any way, shape or form wrong by default.
the centralized political power afforded by the concentration of production power into a single body is a reality
