This isn't about muslims, this is about cutting our numerous losses short and reinvesting in the nation

2019-09-17 23:31:54 UTC

You're right, it's about Persians and Arabs. Always has been

2019-09-17 23:32:20 UTC

No, fuck off, this is about America. As in America fucking first.

2019-09-17 23:32:25 UTC

The use of Islam has been the guise to perpetuate it

2019-09-17 23:32:49 UTC

That's the point. You know what you have to do to get the Arabs and Persians killing each other again? Not a goddamn thing. It takes a carrier battle group to keep the straights open you can close them with some C4 and a rowboat.

2019-09-17 23:33:28 UTC

That's why sitting on the sidelines is perfect. Stir up that hornets nest and let them have the fuck at it.

2019-09-17 23:34:07 UTC

okay you see that, the thing where you're talking about doing shit over there? thats the problem. knock it off.

2019-09-17 23:34:34 UTC

I don't care if they do close the straight of hormuz. doesn't affect a damn thing about the US and Russia except increase our oil output and put people to work in a constructive manner.

2019-09-17 23:34:40 UTC

It's not even stirring up anything. Leave them alone and they'll do it themselves.

2019-09-17 23:34:48 UTC

2019-09-17 23:35:08 UTC

We take our big stick, and softly walk the fuck away

2019-09-17 23:35:11 UTC

@allgoodguy Increases the cost of oil for everyone..

2019-09-17 23:35:19 UTC

Making goods based off of oil more expensive for everyone

2019-09-17 23:35:23 UTC

Including US customers.

2019-09-17 23:35:31 UTC

Yeah, and increases wages too

2019-09-17 23:35:40 UTC

Increase wages for very few

2019-09-17 23:35:47 UTC

And increase costs for everyone

2019-09-17 23:35:57 UTC

So you have needless cost increases with little benefit for everyone

2019-09-17 23:36:07 UTC

I'd argue overall it hurts more people than it helps.

2019-09-17 23:36:10 UTC

Meaning, it's bad.

2019-09-17 23:36:20 UTC

Not with the unemployment rate it is at right now. We have about as much to lose and Britain going through Brexit. It's just a change in reality.

2019-09-17 23:36:21 UTC

any increase in wages is only meaningful if its taken in context with the current living costs and inflation

2019-09-17 23:36:30 UTC

Trust me the economy will survive and absorb it.

2019-09-17 23:36:43 UTC

Sure, but the consumer will be hurt.

2019-09-17 23:36:54 UTC

Which is bad for everyone.

2019-09-17 23:36:55 UTC

And the worker will benefit

2019-09-17 23:37:03 UTC

Very FEW workers will benefit.

2019-09-17 23:37:04 UTC

Not many.

2019-09-17 23:37:12 UTC

No it does not make goods more expensive in US. It makes them cheaper. We have all the best refining and thanks to shale huge reserves we have not tapped.

2019-09-17 23:37:13 UTC

I hear doom and gloom all th time. I don't buy it.

2019-09-17 23:37:36 UTC

That is the fear of the media talking

2019-09-17 23:37:36 UTC

Do you think goods being more expensive helps the consumer?

2019-09-17 23:37:43 UTC

Think logically here.

2019-09-17 23:37:45 UTC

We can break it down.

2019-09-17 23:37:52 UTC

I am, the economy changes,

2019-09-17 23:38:07 UTC

What's the impact on the consumer if goods are more expensive?

2019-09-17 23:38:10 UTC

And I hear demogoguery of how "its still totally worth it to stay in, guys, for realsies this time"

2019-09-17 23:38:10 UTC

Positive, or negative?

2019-09-17 23:38:11 UTC

There is a price ceiling on petrochemicals in N. America basically. If the full cycle breakdown goes a bit over 40 we start making more.

2019-09-17 23:38:15 UTC

It becomes less international, and more of an american economy.

2019-09-17 23:38:27 UTC

What's the impact on the consumer if goods are more expensive?
