IT's interesting how much they wanna treat kids like adults.

Why else would they think "3 year Tommy can decide to transition. 7 year Tyrone hates guns and we should shape our gun policy and regulation on his thoughts".

Kids are the only ones dumb enough to believe them at this point. And they're a captive audience in a classroom

To me, little kids are completely off-limits. They need protection before all else. Older kids can learn some things, especially during puberty.

But what I mean by off-limits is that there's a kid's world and an adult's world

And we do not mix those two unless it's like

We need to bring back civics classes

Mandatory class, every year through highschool

Who is going to determine what gets taught as the rights and duties of citizenship?

In the current climate I'd say the "new civics" is probably just as insane as everything else

Or will be depending on who is teaching it

I'm pretty sure we can't make progress before men don't have pregnancies and menstrual cycles

So please take that into consideration

Civics in the sense of making sure they understand the values the country was founded on, individual liberty within society and checks and balances within politics

And understanding what those values mean

You don't think that message will be corrupted by the "America was never great" and "America is the most destructive place on earth" crowd

I think you have to clean house before this would work out

If the state can't teach specific values anymore, then no public representative should be able to teach values at all

I could point to a few experiments, like Norway

Where perfect gender equality is pretty much achieved

It's the most gender normative country in the west

Homeschool kids always turn out as the weirdest or most balanced people. Depends on the parent

Yeah, I'm actually opposed to homeschooling
