Good thing I use DDG
So, what's happened with the transcripts? Been a bit busy today, and am not in a location where I can listen in on a video.
Did they write him out of the show by having him become a victim of hate crime?
@Zanzetkuken they're underwhelming
They just made him run off
For no good reason at all
Just vanished 😄
They joked that it was because of someone's PJ's, then they just move on; big sad
I'm loving it
He died trying to fake his own suicide
This'll teach Hollywood a lesson to not make up false claims too easily
He tried too hard and actually did it
Hilarious coming from DW
depending on how one would define post-reaganist conservatism this would either be a good thing or a great thing
maybe get some republicans that don't define their political career with how much they cum thinking about militaristic foreign policy
or understand that the free market isn't an unquestionable deity and requires at least the barest minimum oversight
a break from the party dogma of privatizing literally every service would be nice too.
So, basically, democrats.
if that's honestly the first place your mind went to, one must consider what the fuck is the point of the republican party, if taking those few things away removes their distinction
but to answer your question, not today's democrats, surely
If you can look at the Republican party and regard it as something that has too gratuitous a respect for free markets, then you've missed the freaking boat on what the Republican Party actually *does.*
The foreign policy thing is perfectly well granted, but then, really both parties have shit foreign policy, one just pretends to be less ashamed of being involved in wars while they're in office.
exactly, wasn't coming at this from a point of elevating democrats in comparison
It's typically a democrat talking point, though. Because it's the usual way they criticize republicans.
well that really goes both ways, I mean MSNBC and FOX do this all the time. "the other guys should act more like us and they'll get votes"
Both parties are shit on markets, one just pretends to be more for free markets. Both are shitty on foreign policy, one just pretends to be more doveish. Both are shitty on privitization, one just pretends to challenge privitization for the welfare of the poor, while the other pretends to utilize it for the sake of economic growth. The reality is, privitize, or socialize, it's done in the service of their own cliques and interests.
So Ted Cruz is from my town. That’s interesting
some shit should be private, some shit shouldn't. and really we're much too far along to pretend we can't find out which is which
Almost nothing really *can* be private, though.
well privately owned
I’m also meaning as Calgary Alberta unless Wikipedia is wrong
market-speaking
Things can be *more* or *less* private, but the reality is, there's too much bureaucracy involved, and the regs make it essentially impossible to grow beyond a certain stage without forming a political lobby, and providing a quid pro quo to the ruling elites.
I know it’s hard to believe but some people that famous people wish they could be keep their bedroom shit out of the public eye
That’s private
The only private
That's not what we're talking about, RAM
That’s the closest you prolly can get other than a business
