You were involved before 9/11
Big think. It's possible the reason why so many countries feel as if they can safely rely on the global oil markets is because the US is securing them. The perhaps unintended side effect of that commercial "pax americana" may be that the opportunity cost of developing energy self-sufficiency in most countries isn't adequate for them to shake free from the bonds of international oil.
Like when Dubai was like we got oil but didn’t know they had oil
Did I say we were involved before 9/11? Everyone knows we began funding the separatists fighting against the Communist, Soviet-puppet regime of Kabul in Afghanistan, nearly a year before the Soviets invaded on the false-pretense terrorists were flooding into the SU, Ram.
I said it as a statement
Build Sand Wall
As for the Communist threat, Menace, it isn't the same iteration as the past.
I really think the US should be helping Russia economically. Being the global hegemon is great and all, but it stifles innovation and progress
The threat we face in America is altruism.
You mujahideen funding idiots making your own killer
Literally training osama bin Ladin
Canada should annex russia
And just see if we die
Norway should annex Russia
Even better
We helped Russia economically by giving them foreign aid, and goods shipments after the collapse of the Soviet Union, extending into the early years of the Obama Admin.
Pathological altruism is indeed a key feature of their success, or rather, exploiting it.
Aside from that, our intervention in the Middle East caused a global oil shortage, shifting demand onto Russian exports, which jump-started their recovery process.
See here.
The communists don't need to be controlled or fought. They just need to be ignored, and they'll wander on home
Helped Canada become the amazing for the first act and shit in the second
The Fins annexing Russia. <:pot_of_kek:544849795433496586>
That’s a jump
Anyway, notice the uptrend beginning with U.S. intervention causing a global oil shortage.
All of that revenue was from the artificially inflated value of oil, the result of the intervention, which thus increased the value of their exports and jump-started the economy.
That it is, Ram.
Farmers are fucking hardcore
I mean, look at Vietnam
They know how to handle a hoe
Have smarter people take the helm and stop acting like Finland is Poland
@Miniature Menace, indeed, as it relates to altruism, but it always grows into a menace on its own, without much of any interference cultivating it.
@RAM II or France
Nonetheless, it is true academia is polluted with Communist materials.
Imagine going to Canada and thinking this might take year I don’t need a jacket pfft
Really napoleon and hitler listen to Momgolia and put on yer coat
@Jeremy yeah, but no guns
So....
