Freedom of religion is enshrined in our law. Christianity has been civilized in this country. I call it 'The Serrano Test' after Andres Serrano who took a photo of a crucifix submerged in urine he called 'Piss Christ'. When it was revealed that he had received NEA money for this "art" there was a public outcry and NEA funding was reduced over the scandal. If at some point 'Piss Mohamed' appears in the Stux Gallery and the reaction of Muslims is to write their congressmen than Islam too will have become a civilized religion.
