You spend years of your life dedicating yourself to the scientific method, almost a decade, and so do all your friends in other fields, then you meet am economist who claims to be a scientist, and he tells you that the thing you and all your colleagues rely on is worthless here

Some things are inhearently unpredictable becsuse of the amount of variables simply cannot all be acounted for

I just dont have such an overinflated view of myself to believe my method of doing things is the be all and all answer to everything

Granted my grandfathers library encompassed tens of thousands of books but thats neither here nor there

He would go to auctions and just buy boxes of books and read them by the hundreds for his entire life

Especially with Computer Science since many of those jobs are given to Pajeet and Ahmed
