Still using the No Extension rhetoric

2019-10-04 21:50:51 UTC

If he knew he had to extend he would have started going back on this by now

2019-10-04 21:51:36 UTC

divorce plans leaked

2019-10-04 21:51:46 UTC

he will seek if no deal by the 19th

2019-10-04 21:51:48 UTC

I need to be a subscriber to read that, But i don't think he will

2019-10-04 21:52:08 UTC

really? it worked fine for me

2019-10-04 21:52:10 UTC

anyway

2019-10-04 21:52:20 UTC

If he knew he had to extend why would he keep up that rhetoric of No Extension?

2019-10-04 21:52:30 UTC

It doesn't make sense from an optics point of view

2019-10-04 21:52:39 UTC

It just makes him look unreliable

2019-10-04 21:52:53 UTC

Well of course he told a court that

2019-10-04 21:52:56 UTC

boris is insiting but court says other wise

2019-10-04 21:53:06 UTC

now its law binding

2019-10-04 21:53:15 UTC

I think he will technically follow the bill but will find a way around it

2019-10-04 21:53:25 UTC

That allows us to leave

2019-10-04 21:54:20 UTC

Boris may go to jail if he seeks no extension

2019-10-04 21:54:24 UTC

cause of scottish courts

2019-10-04 21:54:25 UTC

So?

2019-10-04 21:54:26 UTC

top bants

2019-10-04 21:54:36 UTC

no pm

2019-10-04 21:54:36 UTC

He can just become a martyr for the cause

2019-10-04 21:54:48 UTC

then you may get a remainer in

2019-10-04 21:54:57 UTC

We will already be out

2019-10-04 21:54:58 UTC

courts rule the land unfortunately

2019-10-04 21:55:19 UTC

Or he could try to invoke the Civil Contingencies act

2019-10-04 21:55:38 UTC

This is the one time in which i would really like the PM to have dictatorial power

2019-10-04 21:55:56 UTC

indeed i would too

2019-10-04 21:56:01 UTC

but he wont/cant

2019-10-04 21:56:15 UTC

courts over rules even bias'd wamen scottish ones

2019-10-04 21:56:26 UTC

The courts are wrong

2019-10-04 21:56:28 UTC

Legally

2019-10-04 21:57:01 UTC

I don't know for sure, But is there a law to overrule the Supreme Court if they have made a decision which is wrong legally due to political bias

2019-10-04 21:57:20 UTC

By precedent the prorogation for starters was Legal

2019-10-04 21:57:45 UTC

if only that law can be enacted

2019-10-04 22:02:26 UTC

Frm my understanding the supreme court is the highest legal authority in the UK since they abloished the Law Lords. When they unlawfully exceed their remit there is only one court higher, ECHR.

2019-10-04 22:03:41 UTC

lol

2019-10-04 22:03:51 UTC

what a sad state of affairs

2019-10-04 22:04:28 UTC

But Parliament can just repeal or make legislation that is contradictory to the court.
