sounds like pep is ok with it

so if anyone but tories win the next election, pep is ok with letting the tories stay on

while we work out a transition deal

because pep respects democracy like that

tbf the UK isn't a direct democracy

we don't formulate policy via referenda

But the remainers need to realize that there will be serious political consequences if they ignore the 2016 vote to leave

Why don't England and Wales just secede from the Union and then leave without a deal?

Both voted majority Leave so it would make sense

And then you wouldn't have the Scottish complaining about being taken out against their will

The scots would probably support that

But it would be a gigantic clusterfuck to split the military

And then Northern Ireland could just stay with Scotland or re-join the Republic of Ireland

EU is fair game since is what 40 years old

Each country gets what it voted for

We are getting out before it becomes even more difficult

Scotland and Northern Ireland get to Remain and they voted to Remain, England and Wales both voted to leave and get to leave

However it wouldn't work like that though

Plus lot's of the Scottish already support Independence

Since Scotland and NI would both need to reapply

As they arnt really countries right now

And arnt independent

But the United Kingdom wouldn't be leaving

And the requirements to join both countries would not meet

England and Wales would just be seceding from the United Kingdom

the EU isnt 40 yrs old... its barely 20

the EEC ... which is different, is older

but that was "just a trade bloc"

It's like if Catalonia got it's independence, Spain wouldn't need to reapply to re-join the EU because of it

now its "just a trade bloc.... with a flag.. and an anthem... and an armed forces branch, and an air force branch.. and an intelligence department..."

It would cease to be the UK

Scotland would still be the UK

along with Northern Ireland

It is the seat of the monarch

It is the seat of the SC
