“Wholesaling and processing of sea products provides 5,000 jobs in 150 companies. Thus significant effects are to be expected in the case of a hard Brexit,” he adds. The official warns that if the U.K. withdraws from the CFP, the whole thing may "unravel."
Getting out of CFP and CAP is one of the key (albeit minor) reasons for getting out of the EU
Perhaps all these threats, whether to EU economies or to our own, should be addressed by pointing out "Well this wouldn't be happening if the EU had remained a trade-only body and the UK retained full control of it's borders/immigration"
Because let's get real, this is why this is all happening - EU federal project creep + intransigence on their part
Been asking more suppliers about brexit
As they are coming in for sales meetings, discounts etc
I continue to be told "We have stock it's not gonna be an issue"
It's as if they prepared or something
"Can you give me a lead time?"
3-5 working days
"What about after the 31st?"
*Slight chuckle*
3-5 working days
It was always a project-fear thing, the delays were only going to be transient during the switchover
Honestly zero suppliers are worried
So why the fuck should I be worried
Those guys are the ones that actually have to do the paperwork
In fact it's decreased lead times in a few cases
As some companies have been setting up warehouse space in the UK
So I'm getting some stuff next day instead
Electrical cabinets used to be over a week lead time
I got the latest in 2 days
The thing that is hurting us is this stupid political shit.
**The matter has been settled**
We had the vote!
No ifs or buts
You should have put the energy you are using to whining about the result into campaigning in the 2016 referendum if it was so important to you
But you didn’t
So reap what you sow

do abstain from voting?
Voting needs to be heavily restricted
To those earning over a certain amount of money and over a certain age.
Possibly to those with college level education and above as well.
Certain age yes 18
Money no
Age, 21.
Education no
King Remainer vibes here
The problem with restricting sufferage is no one will vote to remove their own. If you want to curtail it you need phases
You just want to gerrymander the votes in your favour
Money, yes. Poor people don't care about strategic aims like the rich
There should also be a maximum voting age
Education, probably THE most important one.
