How would you go about tracking down these jammers? Is there any easy way to finding them?

2019-04-15 20:35:20 UTC

Yup so basically hmmm

2019-04-15 20:35:28 UTC

there are two types of radars right

2019-04-15 20:35:47 UTC

Theres whats called Pulse radar and Active Electronically scanned radar

2019-04-15 20:36:06 UTC

Old pulse based radars are the one you saw in movies and mostly everywhere in the civile sector

2019-04-15 20:36:08 UTC

they turn

2019-04-15 20:36:11 UTC

mechanically

AESA adar on the other hands have multiple transmitters if you wanna call them 'mini radars' that allow the thing to scan using their different placements without having to turn the radar antenna

2019-04-15 20:38:05 UTC

The advantage you get is A you can change frequencies a lot easier now

2019-04-15 20:38:31 UTC

and you can have multiple frequencies in multiple scan modules (transmitter-receiver)

2019-04-15 20:39:12 UTC

Story goes far beyond that in how you do it but i'll make it simple and simple and say the usage of Gallium Nitrides in antennas supported the frequency ease of change now

2019-04-15 20:39:15 UTC

anyway

2019-04-15 20:39:23 UTC

B youre able to focus at multiple targets

2019-04-15 20:39:39 UTC

since you dont have a single large dome antenna that can only follow one target and turn mechanically

2019-04-15 20:39:47 UTC

you can assign every module to focus on a certain target

2019-04-15 20:40:46 UTC

if for example your radar jammer emmits a different frequency the missile processing section with confirm 'Radar jammer' and will engage the change of frequency

2019-04-15 20:40:56 UTC

now your jammer has to have something to counter that too

2019-04-15 20:41:00 UTC

its like a cat and mouse game

2019-04-15 20:41:23 UTC

i'll get to part 2 in a sec just finish reading

2019-04-15 20:41:33 UTC

and tell me when youre good to go

2019-04-15 20:42:38 UTC

Ok I think I got you, go on.

2019-04-15 20:42:43 UTC

Alright

2019-04-15 20:43:03 UTC

Any seeker to hit the target can use 2 ways

2019-04-15 20:43:11 UTC

or pardon 3 ways

2019-04-15 20:43:17 UTC

Active

2019-04-15 20:43:20 UTC

Semi-Active

2019-04-15 20:43:23 UTC

Passive

2019-04-15 20:43:52 UTC

Active is the radio-seeker relies on its own generated wave to track and follow the target

2019-04-15 20:44:17 UTC

Semi-Active is it relies on other radar's reflected wave

2019-04-15 20:44:27 UTC

Passive is the seeler relies completly on the enemy radar wave

2019-04-15 20:45:26 UTC

seeker*

2019-04-15 20:45:58 UTC

I will provide a picture in a sec to give you a better idea

so uh

2019-04-15 20:52:27 UTC

about that cathedral fire

2019-04-15 20:52:55 UTC

@CCP Missile'Threat If you'd like we could take it to dms.

2019-04-15 20:53:02 UTC

Yeah, Varg did it.

2019-04-15 20:53:14 UTC

Sure just send me a message i'll be glad to answer anything

2019-04-15 20:53:27 UTC

Whatever suits you Naval - Air - Space - Ground warfare

2019-04-15 20:53:57 UTC

Sweet. How do you know all about this stuff?
