Regardless, anything left of social democrat generally advocates for workers ownership of the means of production. How this is acheived is where it varies. More authoritarian leaning leftists would say this is best acheived through management of a state, Anarchists/Libertarian Socialists would believe that to be wrong, and advocate for direct control and administration by the workers through, usually, comittees.

I'd argue that these "superioritties" are perpetuated alot through differences in class. Even then, all people serve the greater society at large in some degree to make it function. Talk shit about janitorial jobs, but someone needs to do it until we reach a certain level of automation. You cant expect the typical passerby to clean up filth and make the place look nice and function.
