@OF-8 So human nature is the unrestricted exchange of words, values and goods? Why cannot human value also include moderation of these things?

Also, Daily reminder that Hitler wasn't a Christian

@Deleted User I think he would pose the argument that moderation through intervention is artifical, and thus is not 'natural' human nature. idk

2017-06-05 06:12:51 UTC

All communication is a form of intervention.

2017-06-05 06:14:59 UTC

I want to know here he gets his 'unrestricted' requirement from. Because, so far he has only alluded to the features of human nature, not its quantities. Why are limitations perverted?

exactly lol, but I think he believes that his system is less of a distortion to human nature

2017-06-05 06:16:21 UTC

I don't understand how distortion or clarity comes about through whether or not it is restricted.

2017-06-05 06:16:43 UTC

It is just not progressive to limit group thought process. Nothing to do with nature.

2017-06-05 06:17:21 UTC

Some have junk thought process, so what?

2017-06-05 06:18:09 UTC

free thinking is part of human nature

2017-06-05 06:18:31 UTC

The moderation of value systems by anyone other than the tribal ingroup is unsustainable long term. Meaning. Never once have we had a flat stable currency, even gold fluctuates or becomes unvalued

2017-06-05 06:18:39 UTC

It's a forced meme

2017-06-05 06:18:44 UTC

Is killing bosniaks human nature?

2017-06-05 06:18:49 UTC

Hope so

2017-06-05 06:18:56 UTC

And people call me inhumane

2017-06-05 06:19:02 UTC

Removing kebab is human nature.

2017-06-05 06:19:10 UTC

@Evan nothing is part of nature. At the same time?

a planned economy removes distortion

2017-06-05 06:20:22 UTC

the planning is itself the distortion

2017-06-05 06:20:39 UTC

I mean market distortion

2017-06-05 06:22:35 UTC

@OF-8 What is the connection between human nature, tribal in-groups and requirement for long term stability? Before you said human nature was the exchange of words and values. There is a large tolerance for variation here in preference groups and social stability. In fact, written language necessitates the existence of large communities, greater than one tribe.

2017-06-05 06:22:43 UTC

precisely because they'd try to use the helicopters is why we should arm the people and why democratic socialism doesn't work

2017-06-05 06:23:10 UTC

So then we come to the idea of intertribal value structures

2017-06-05 06:25:52 UTC

And this is where we need gods to sort everything out.

2017-06-05 06:26:17 UTC

Stalin was Nazbol

2017-06-05 06:26:53 UTC

The ideological structure of the solution to intertribal value structures sits well within the brain as religion.

2017-06-05 06:26:55 UTC

Stalin was god

2017-06-05 06:27:55 UTC

@OF-8 And religion is not such an example of moderation of value systems from outside of the tribe?

@Deleted User You can't measure distortion or clarity in relation to true human nature, insofar as human nature cannot be viewed in vaccum. He simply has an axiomatic presuposition about human nature

2017-06-05 06:28:20 UTC

It is a negotiated moderation of value systems

2017-06-05 06:28:39 UTC

According the the dominance relationship of these tribes

2017-06-05 06:29:48 UTC

@OF-8 Do you mean 'negotiated' loosely or is a strict sense of fair and equal inter-tribal consultation?

2017-06-05 06:31:16 UTC

@Deleted User I sure hope so

2017-06-05 06:31:23 UTC

It would seem that religion as a moderating force is not a freely exchanged value structure.
